Job summary

UNICC is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Consultant to assist in delivering security services aligned with UN Partner Organisations. The role involves investigating alerts, supporting cloud security architecture in Google Cloud, and developing automation playbooks with Google Cloud Functions, SOAR, and related tools.

Candidates should have at least two years of IT experience, a degree in MIS/CS/CE, and expert-level English.

Qualifications

Minimum two years in information technology with incident response or forensics in Google Cloud.
Experience designing security controls and architecture in Google Cloud.
Bachelor level degree in MIS, CS, CE or related field.

Responsibilities

Investigate security alerts and incidents from Google security tools and SOC escalations.
Support architecture changes and implement new security solutions with hardening practices.
Develop and maintain automation playbooks using Google Cloud Functions and SOAR.
Monitor and improve threat detection for Google Cloud environment.
Assist with security risk assessments and ISO 27001 compliance activities.
