Colt Technology Services is seeking a senior VAT specialist to own and lead global VAT compliance across our operating footprint. You will act as a subject matter expert, advising the business and driving governance, process improvements and risk mitigation in indirect tax matters.

You will collaborate with external advisors, tax authorities, and internal teams to ensure accurate VAT returns, timely filings and continuous efficiency gains.

Formación

• 4–7 years’ experience in European/UK VAT compliance (preparation, review, reconciliations).
• Experience in VAT advisory and governing indirect tax processes.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; good presentation ability.
• Ability to relate to multi-cultural European customers.
• Collaborative mindset and team-oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Own relationships with external VAT advisors; provide strategic compliance direction.
• Provide autonomous VAT advice to the business.
• Lead delivery and governance of indirect tax compliance; ensure timely submissions.
• Review VAT returns and related filings prepared by teams/advisors.
• Coordinate responses to audits, inquiries and investigations.
