Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Head of Tax Information Reporting based in Spain to lead a global tax reporting function within a fast-paced digital asset environment. You will oversee CARF, DAC8, CRS 2.0, FATCA and US Form 1099-DA reporting, build scalable data processes, and manage external vendors while partnering with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 7+ years in tax information reporting with leadership experience, strong SQL skills, and knowledge of international tax regulations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in tax information reporting or regulatory data reporting.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong data analysis and technical capabilities (SQL, data specs).
• Experience with CARF, DAC8, CRS 2.0, FATCA or related regimes.

Responsibilities

• Lead global tax information reporting across CARF, DAC8, CRS 2.0, FATCA, and US Form 1099-DA.
• Define data specifications and partner with Product and Data Engineering teams.
• Establish and maintain a QA framework and oversee submissions.
• Manage external tax reporting vendors and platform contracts.
• Develop group-wide reporting policies and regulatory interpretations.
• Own the global tax self-certification framework in onboarding.
• Design processes for undocumented accounts restrictions under DAC8/CARF.
• Maintain regulatory readiness tracker and report to leadership.
• Build and lead a senior team and train local compliance groups.
• Support testing, audits, and ensure documentation is thorough.
