IT8 is seeking a Senior PLC Programmer to design, develop, and implement PLC programs for automotive lines and robotized plants. You will lead a team of programmers, install programs onsite, and support commissioning and testing across global projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of PLC experience, with ladder logic and structured text proficiency. Travel to client sites worldwide is expected; English proficiency is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in PLC programming, ideally in automotive.
• Strong knowledge of ladder logic and structured text.
• Experience with programming software, such as Rockwell RSLogix & RS Studio, Siemens TIA PORTAL.
• Familiarity with industrial automation standards and protocols, such EtherNet/IP.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Methodical, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement PLC programs according to project requirements.
• Load programs in the PLC onsite.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of PLC systems.
• Conduct testing and debugging of PLC programs to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with Robot Programmers, Engineers, and Technicians to develop solutions for automation projects.
• Elaborate documentation and training manuals.
• Provide technical support to resolve issues with PLC programs and systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in PLC programming and industrial control systems.
• Lead a team of Programmers.
