IT8 Software, an engineering partner with over 15 years in automotive and logistics, seeks a Junior PLC Programmer to install and program automated lines for automotive manufacturing. You will design, load, commission, test PLC systems and collaborate with engineers on automation projects.

The role offers a global scope with travel to client sites mainly in the US and Europe, a dynamic work environment, and opportunities to grow within a leading engineering firm.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional experience in PLC programming preferred, automotive background valued.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement PLC programs according to project requirements.
• Load programs in the PLC onsite.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of PLC systems.
• Conduct testing and debugging of PLC programs to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with Robot Programmers, Engineers, and Technicians on automation projects.
• Elaborate documentation and training manuals.
• Provide technical support to resolve PLC issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems for optimal performance.
• Lead a team of Programmers.
