Job summary

Julius Baer is seeking an experienced SAP FI-GL and ERP Senior Consultant to lead design, customization and optimization of general ledger and core financial processes. You will translate complex requirements into scalable SAP solutions and ensure integration with CO and other modules.

You will support global operations across 35+ entities, driving blueprinting, RICEFW specs, UAT, and cutover activities while collaborating with ABAP developers. Fluent English and/or German are valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Information Technology.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience focusing on FI-GL, FI-AA, TRM, RE-FX and Authorizations; banking experience is a plus.
• Platform: SAP S/4HANA deployment and customization.
• Key skills: deep understanding of R2R processes and complex financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure new legal entities and parallel accounting setups for IFRS/local GAAP.
• Implement automated validations and substitutions to streamline month-end close.
• Lead blueprinting, realization workshops, and create functional specs for RICEFW with ABAP teams.
• Develop test scenarios, execute UAT, and manage cutover tasks.
• Manage FI integration mappings with MM/SD/PP to ensure correct account determination.
