Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Manager of Reliability & Root Cause Analysis to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team within the Fleet Intelligence & Reliability organization. The role focuses on identifying fleet risks, determining systemic causes of failures, and driving corrective actions for sustainable reliability across the global Solar and Storage installed fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.
• Demonstrable experience leading complex investigations or RCAs involving multidisciplinary systems.
• Experience managing engineers and cross-functional teams in a global engineering environment.
• Background in power generation, renewable energy, battery storage, or industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for fleet reliability and RCA.
• Own and improve the RCA governance process with milestones, reviews, and closure criteria.
• Lead investigations of complex failures affecting solar inverters, battery storage systems, plant controls, and interfaces.
• Ensure evidence-based investigations using data, logs, analysis, and structured problem-solving methods.
• Drive containment, mitigation, and permanent corrective actions with engineering and operations owners.
• Translate field learnings into product and operational improvements.
• Provide technical leadership during fleet events and executive reviews.
