GEA Group is seeking a Project Buyer in Alcobendas on a fixed-term basis to connect Procurement, Project Management, Engineering, and suppliers across the project lifecycle. You will support Make-or-Buy decisions, drive cost optimization, and manage supplier interactions within a dynamic international environment.

The role covers procure-to-pay processes, PPP development, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on delivering value and maintaining project schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree is required; Project Management training is a plus.
• 5+ years of direct/indirect procurement and project procurement experience in complex international environments.
• Strong background in contract management, negotiations, cost analysis, and supplier management.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary procurement interface for Project Management, Engineering, Planning, and Controlling.
• Coordinate sourcing activities with Strategic Buyers and Category Managers.
• Drive project-specific cost optimization and risk mitigation; ensure lead-time adherence.
• Manage day-to-day supplier interactions: quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and related commercial topics.
• Ensure compliance with procurement processes including competitive bidding, PR/PO processes, contracts, and approvals.
• Collaborate with Logistics to track transport risks and import/export constraints.
