Morgan Philips is partnering with a tech company to recruit a Senior Manager Global Procurement in Madrid. You will lead the day‑to‑day operation of the global Procurement function, transform tools and processes, and develop a Madrid‑based team of Category Managers.

This hands‑on leadership role requires extensive negotiation experience and the ability to build a scalable, business‑oriented operating model. Availability for in‑office presence in Madrid is expected.

Formación

• 8–12 years of experience in Procurement, incl. 3–4 years in a senior/lead role.
• Strong experience in technology, software or SaaS environments.
• Proven experience negotiating complex, multi‑year contracts internationally.
• Involvement in Procurement transformation projects (platforms, workflows, operating model).
• Experience developing and leading Procurement professionals.
• Proficiency in spend analytics, savings modelling and business cases.
• Experience with modern procurement platforms such as Coupa, Zip, SAP Ariba.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex, high‑value negotiations across SaaS, cloud, IT and services.
• Manage end‑to‑end sourcing processes from scoping to contract execution.
• Develop a pipeline of savings initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Escalation point for strategic negotiations, supplier disputes and risks.
• Transform Procurement processes including P2P and CLM.
• Drive selection, implementation and adoption of procurement tech.
• Improve spend visibility, savings tracking and supplier performance.
• Develop category playbooks, sourcing frameworks and onboarding standards.
• Partner with Finance, Legal and IT to embed Procurement across the organisation.
• Coach and develop a team of Category Managers.
