Amazon in Spain is seeking Controls System Development Engineers to join our In-House Controls team. This global role involves leading the development and deployment of PLC-based automation solutions across our international network.

The ideal candidate has a continuous improvement mindset, can travel, and will mentor engineers while driving design reviews and performance optimization.

Formación

• Professional software development experience (non-internship).
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, OS).
• Experience designing or architecting scalable systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
• English communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement software for automation systems.
• Lead global deployments of software projects.
• Manage high-impact software releases to minimize disruption.
• Train and mentor engineering team members.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to engineering reviews and architecture discussions.
• Analyze system performance and provide optimization recommendations.
