Vanderlande Industries is seeking a PLC and Controls Engineer to support automated systems in logistics and airport projects. The role requires extensive travel (50-60%), with on-site and remote tasks across our installation base worldwide.

You will contribute to FAT/CAT processes and deliver robust control solutions. Based in Santpedor, you will collaborate with the PAX team on airport lines, support factory engineering, and participate in testing and commissioning activities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• 3-5 years’ experience in material handling, automation or related industry.
• Knowledge of TIA Portal, WinCC SCADA, etc.
• Understand Electrical drawings.
• Electrical knowledge for validation, detection of failures, troubleshooting.
• Knowledge/Experience of EU and US electrical and safety norms.
• Experience with Frequency Inverters, HMI and other related products.
• Experience in the field with machine installation/start up/commissioning/service.
• Direct experience on programming with PLC controlled systems, including safety designs, motor protection and control, and Industrial Communication and networking (i.e. ASibus, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Profinet).
• Excellent reading/writing/speaking in English

Responsabilidades

• Programming and commissioning PLC and SCADA.
• Diagnosis of faults in factory and customer sites.
• Remote technical support for install base worldwide.
• Support FAT and CAT activities.
• Startup at customer site with debugging functionalities.
• Provide customer training and generate manuals.
• Prepare reports on incident resolutions for client history.
