Job summary

Werfen in Barcelona seeks a Senior Network Lead to design, implement and maintain our global enterprise network infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, security, and scalability across the organization.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Infrastructure & Cloud Services, you will lead the Global Connectivity & Network Security team and develop network services for Werfen, driving optimization and incident resolution while ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Extensive enterprise network design, implementation, and security experience.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Aruba, and Fortinet devices.
• Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, CISSP) preferred.
• Strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architectures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Configure and deploy network devices following security standards.
• Collaborate with system admins to integrate network solutions with existing infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including IDS/IPS and VPN technologies.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues for optimal efficiency.
• Lead incident resolution and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Create and maintain network documentation and standards compliance.
