IFF Benicarló, S.L. seeks a Global Manufacturing Data & OT Engineer - Scent to strengthen the industrial data foundation across its global manufacturing network.

You will bridge shop-floor systems and enterprise platforms, ensuring reliable, contextualized data for analytics and digital transformation initiatives. You will connect and integrate data from PLC, DCS, SCADA, MES, and historian systems, support AVEVA PI environments, and apply ISA-88/ISA-95 principles to structure data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Control Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial IT, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing automation, industrial data, historian, MES, or IT/OT integration environments.
• Experience with PLCs, DCS, SCADA, MES, and process historians.
• Hands-on experience with AVEVA PI or similar historian platforms.
• Knowledge of ISA-88, ISA-95, industrial data integration, and manufacturing data models.
• Experience with SQL and at least one scripting language such as Python or PowerShell.
• Understanding of OPC, APIs, and database integrations.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Professional English proficiency.

Responsabilités

We are seeking a Global Manufacturing Data & OT Engineer - Scent to strengthen the industrial data foundation across our global manufacturing network. In this role, you will bridge shop-floor systems and enterprise platforms, ensuring manufacturing data is reliable, contextualized, and accessible for analytics, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives.

Where You'll Make a Difference

Connect and integrate manufacturing data from PLC, DCS, SCADA, MES, laboratory, and historian systems. Support and enhance the AVEVA PI environment, including data collection, asset frameworks, interfaces, analytics, and manufacturing context. Apply ISA-88 and ISA-95 principles to structure equipment, process, batch, and production data. Ensure high-quality, reliable, and governed industrial data for use by analytics, reporting, MES, and enterprise data platforms. Monitor data flows, troubleshoot data quality issues, and coordinate corrective actions with Automation, IT, Manufacturing, and Data teams. Support site deployments, commissioning activities, system improvements, and continuous optimization initiatives. Promote standards, documentation, and best practices across global Scent manufacturing sites.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Control Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial IT, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing automation, industrial data, historian, MES, or IT/OT integration environments.
• Experience with industrial systems such as PLCs, DCS, SCADA, MES, and process historians.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with AVEVA PI or similar historian platforms.
• Knowledge of ISA-88, ISA-95, industrial data integration, and manufacturing data models.
• Experience with SQL and at least one scripting language such as Python or PowerShell.
• Understanding of industrial connectivity technologies including OPC, APIs, and database integrations.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Professional English proficiency.
