Job summary

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. The role is based in Barcelona, Spain (hybrid role).

We support Account Managers with price lists, forecasts, product documentation, and customer quotes, coordinating with service teams to ensure timely order release and contract compliance. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of Sales Support or manufacturing operations experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Sales Support experience and/or manufacturing operations experience.
• Experience prioritizing, coordinating, and managing multiple customer accounts.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience working with SAP or similar business systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Managers by managing price lists, forecasts, product documentation, customer quotations, and sampling requests.
• Coordinate with Customer Service teams and manufacturing plants to ensure timely order release.
• Collaborate with customer service teams across regions to harmonize processes and ensure consistency.
• Analyze sales tracking reports to monitor forecast compliance and identify discrepancies.
• Receive and follow up on customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Ensure activities comply with customer contracts and agreements.
• Participate in customer meetings alongside Account Managers to support customer needs and strengthen relationships.
• Monitor service performance through KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Regulatory, Quality, Planning, Finance, and Customer Service teams to deliver exceptional customer support.

Collaborate with customer service teams across regions to harmonize processes and ensure consistency. Receive and follow up on customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with customer contracts and agreements. Participate in customer meetings alongside Account Managers to support customer needs and strengthen relationships. Monitor service performance through KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate effectively with Regulatory, Quality, Planning, Finance, and Customer Service teams to deliver exceptional customer support.

What Makes You the Right Fit

University degree. 1-3 years of Sales Support experience and/or manufacturing operations experience. Experience prioritizing, coordinating, and managing multiple customer accounts. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally. Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
