Zusammenfassung

Sandoz Iberia is seeking an experienced legal professional to act as a strategic advisor for global M&A, divestitures and BD&L, and to provide compliant, business‑oriented guidance across pharmaceutical platforms in Madrid.

You will lead end‑to‑end legal support for platform transactions, coordinate with internal and external counsel, and drive risk mitigation while aligning with regional stakeholders to ensure governance and efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Law school graduate and Bar member.
• Fluent in English essential.
• At least 5 years of experience as a legal advisor in a top‑tier law firm and/or in‑house, ideally including healthcare/pharmaceutical experience.
• Transactional international experience; M&A experience is a plus.
• Experience advising global/regional commercial teams in pharma or highly regulated industries.
• Ability to lead cross‑border, cross‑functional legal and compliance workstreams.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills under time pressure; excellent communication and negotiation.
• Deep interest in Sandoz's business, purpose and strategy.
• Professional and culturally sensitive work ethic.
• Ability to handle detail while maintaining overview.

Aufgaben

• Key legal partner to global M&A, divestment and BD&L teams, provide strategic advice for dealmaking.
• Support global commercial platforms with compliant, strategic development, launches and lifecycle planning.
• Provide end-to-end legal and compliance support for platform transactions (licensing, co‑development, co‑commercialization, alliances).
• Independently lead global transactions with drafting and negotiation expertise.
• Coordinate with internal and external counsel and key stakeholders to drive efficiency.
• Identify material risks and propose pragmatic mitigation strategies.
• Promote governance and early legal engagement across global platforms.
• Manage external counsel and allocate work to control legal spend.
• Develop standardized templates and trainings to harmonize processes.
