Utopia seeks a dynamic AV & BMS Design Engineer to support the design development of luxury villas and boutique hotels worldwide. You will coordinate with architects, interior designers, and engineers to deliver integrated systems that meet high-end aesthetics and performance.

The role requires independent work, excellent communication, and the ability to progress drawings and specs from concept to BIM under a design manager. Proficient English and AutoCAD are essential for global projects.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical or Building Engineering with a concentration in AV & BMS systems.
• 4–10 years of experience in design consultancy or general contractor.
• Experience on low-rise residential and hospitality projects (private homes, villas, hotels, resorts).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Professional level of English, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Design AV & BMS engineering systems for luxury villas and boutique hotels, ensuring compliance with local codes and client requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and engineers to integrate systems into the project.
• Coordinate spatial design with architectural and structural models; research efficient methods and equipment.
• Resolve technical issues during the design phase.
• Lead development of detailed drawings, documentation, and specs with BIM support.
• Perform market research on updated features and equipment.
• Oversee equipment selection aligning with project requirements and sustainability goals.
• Contribute to value engineering to balance cost, quality, and performance.
• Supervise third-party designers, consultants, and surveyors.
