Job summary

Gamma Recruitment is assisting a leading multinational to recruit a Logistics Senior Manager to design and optimize its international logistics network across Europe and global markets.

Reporting to the Global Logistics Director, you will lead strategy, network development, procurement, and cost management while driving digital transformation, customer satisfaction, and high-performance teams across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree is considered an advantage.
• Languages: Fluent English and Spanish; German is considered a strong advantage, additional European languages are a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in international logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or trade operations.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing international or cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience operating within multinational and matrix organizations.
• Strong background in FMCG, food, retail, consumer goods, temperature-controlled logistics, or other high-volume industries.
• Demonstrated success leading transformation, digitalization, operational excellence, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Extensive experience managing global freight flows, logistics providers, and transportation networks.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities.
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-centric approach and service orientation.
• Ability to lead change and transformation in complex international environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• High resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
• Capability to balance strategic priorities with operational excellence.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10-20%).

Responsibilities

• Define and implement international transport strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Design and optimize scalable logistics networks across Europe and global markets.
• Lead transportation procurement, supplier evaluations, carrier selection, and contracts.
• Drive cost management, benchmarking, and best-practice implementation across the network.
• Advance digitalization, real-time visibility, KPI dashboards, and data-driven decision making.
• Lead international logistics teams across multiple countries and locations.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders to improve service and efficiency.
