As a Global Logistics, Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting Global Logistics through value chain planning, cross-commodity coordination and the development of innovative digital solutions. Working closely with Trading, Logistics and Supply Chain teams, you will enhance operational efficiency, improve decision-making and drive digital transformation initiatives across global value chains.

You will leverage advanced analytics, automation tools, business intelligence platforms and emerging AI technologies to optimize logistics processes, improve visibility and maximize value across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

Global Logistics Support

• Partner with Trading teams to maximize the value of trading positions and supply chain execution.
• Support value chain cost optimization by monitoring and managing logistics costs across global shipment flows.
• Develop, maintain and enhance digital tools and platforms supporting Global Logistics activities.
• Design and implement workflow automations using Microsoft 365, Power Platform and related technologies.
• Build dashboards and analytical tools to improve visibility of logistics operations, vessel execution and supply chain performance.
• Ensure integrity, reliability and accuracy of logistics databases, reports and digital platforms.
• Support digital transformation initiatives across Global Logistics and related business functions.
• Develop SharePoint-based solutions to simplify and digitalize operational processes and team workflows.

Supply Chain & Planning & Execution

• Develop a strong understanding of global commodity flows, freight markets and logistics execution processes.
• Support logistics planning through advanced analytics and data-driven recommendations.
• Assist with capacity planning, shipment monitoring and operational performance analysis.
• Support Load Joint Agreement calculations and settlement activities where applicable.
• Identify opportunities to optimize logistics performance, costs and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across regions to support value chain planning and alignment activities.

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Develop and maintain reporting solutions and analytical models for logistics and supply chain activities.
• Create predictive models related to capacity utilization, vessel waiting times, logistics costs and operational performance.
• Deliver insights and recommendations that support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI technologies to improve productivity, data accessibility and operational effectiveness.
• Support the development of advanced reporting capabilities using BI and data visualization tools.

Experience & Skills

• University degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required; Spanish is an advantage.
• Experience in Agribusiness and commodity logistics is a plus.
• +/- 5 experience in supply chain, logistics, business analytics, commodity trading or related operational environments. Exposure to commodity trading, logistics execution or agribusiness supply chains is highly desirable.
• You are comfortable working with large datasets, developing digital solutions and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to improve business processes and operational performance.
• Experience in commodity trading environments with exposure to trading and/or logistics operations would be considered a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Strong programming and digital solution development capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, Tableau, Excel, cloud-based platforms and AI/Generative AI technologies.
• Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions and workflow automation tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Power Platform and SharePoint development is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and geographies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment.
