Sandoz is seeking a Legal & Compliance Counsel Global Commercial and Transactions to serve as the strategic partner for the global legal & compliance function, supporting M&A and BD&L activities, and providing end-to-end support for global commercial platforms.

You will independently lead global transactions, draft and negotiate with internal and external counsel, and coordinate across regions to mitigate risk and drive sustainable growth.

Formación

• Law school graduate and Bar member.
• Fluent in English essential.
• At least 5 years of experience as legal advisor in top-tier firm or in-house.
• Transactional experience in an international environment; M&A experience a plus.
• Experience advising global/regional commercial teams in pharma or regulated industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-border, cross-functional workstreams; align stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills; ability to communicate clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Be the strategic legal partner for global M&A, divestment and BD&L teams.
• Support global commercial platforms with lifecycle planning, promotions review, and distribution arrangements.
• Provide end-to-end legal & compliance support for platform-related transactions (licensing, co-development, distribution, etc.).
• Independently lead global transactions and provide practical legal advice; draft & negotiate.
• Coordinate with internal and external counsel; align with business partners across regions.
• Assess risks and communicate pragmatic mitigation; implement controls.
• Monitor external counsel spend and manage resources efficiently.
• Develop standardized templates, trainings, and harmonized processes to simplify risk management.
