Michael Page is looking for a General Accountant for our Barcelona Global Finance Services to support the group on all financial matters, overseeing the general ledger and acting as the single point of contact for Local Controllers.

You will handle month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, balance sheet controls, cash planning, tax accounting, audits, and budgeting, in a dynamic, international setting with a hybrid work model.

Mansioni

• Monthly, quarterly and year-end close activities.
• Ensure closing procedures and Group accounting rules are followed.
• Manage quarterly intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare, verify and submit Group reporting.
• Maintain reliable balance sheet information per group and statutory standards.
• Participate in internal controls to ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare monthly cash forecasts and analyze deviations.
• Ensure timely completion of tax obligations and reporting.
• Lead the audit process with internal and external auditors.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for subsidiaries.
