Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Internal Communications Specialist to join our global communications team. You will craft and publish engaging internal content across channels, support campaigns, and help strengthen our culture through storytelling and employee engagement.

The role requires 3+ years in internal communications, a bachelor’s degree, and native-level English. You will collaborate with stakeholders across regions and leverage Microsoft 365 and AI tools to improve communication

• 3+ years in internal/corporate communications or related
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing or related discipline
• Native or near-native English proficiency (C1/C2) with strong writing
• Experience with internal comms platforms (intranet, Viva Engage, Teams)
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency in MS 365 and interest in AI/automation tools
• Ability to track engagement metrics and report on effectiveness

Position: Global Internal Communications Specialist (f/m/d)

We are looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join our global communications team and help drive effective, engaging, and impactful communication across a diverse international organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who is passionate about storytelling, employee engagement, and delivering high-quality communication experiences that support business objectives and strengthen company culture.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Support the execution of internal communication strategies aligned with global business priorities and organizational goals.
• Create, edit, and publish engaging content for internal communication channels, including intranet articles, newsletters, emails, and employee social platforms.
• Manage and maintain internal communication channels, ensuring content is accurate, timely, and relevant.
• Coordinate global communication campaigns, employee engagement initiatives, and culture-building programs.
• Prepare communication materials for leadership, including presentations, speaking notes, key messages, and event-related content.
• Partner with stakeholders across business functions, product groups, and regions to gather information and align messaging.
• Support communication activities related to town halls, leadership meetings, and internal events.
• Monitor communication performance metrics and prepare reports to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain communication templates, toolkits, and content repositories to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Leverage Microsoft 365 and AI-powered tools to enhance communication processes, collaboration, and employee engagement.

Your Background

• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Native or near-native English proficiency (C1/C2) with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a focus on audience-centered communication.
• Experience working with internal communication platforms such as intranet systems, Viva Engage, Microsoft Teams, and similar tools.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and a strong interest in AI and automation tools, including Microsoft Copilot.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to track engagement metrics, interpret data, and recommend improvements to communication effectiveness.
