Job summary

Empresaconfidencial in Madrid is seeking an Internal Auditor to strengthen the Group's Internal Audit function. You will report to the Internal Audit Manager and help design and implement audit methodologies across Africa-focused projects.

The role requires 5–8 years of internal risk and controls experience, strong autonomy in fieldwork, and the ability to work across international teams and languages. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5–8 years of internal/external audit or risk management experience.
• Strong autonomy in fieldwork and cross-border collaboration.
• Experience designing or establishing internal audit functions is a plus.
• Proficiency with COSO, Excel and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the Internal Audit Manager in developing and enhancing audit methodologies and planning.
• Plan and execute financial, operational, and compliance audits with autonomy.
• Assess internal controls and report findings with clear, actionable recommendations.
• Travel regularly to active sites and across countries.
• Collaborate with project teams, procurement, finance and legal across Madrid and subsidiaries.
