Job summary

Axalta is seeking an Intercompany Transport Planner to join our team at the Asturias, Spain facility. The role involves DRP execution, transportation planning, and close collaboration with carriers and 3PLs to ensure timely, cost-efficient product movements.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field and 3+ years in logistics planning, with hands-on SAP, TMS, and WMS experience. Travel up to 15-20% across EMEA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics planning, transportation planning, supply chain operations, or distribution execution.
• Hands-on experience working with SAP and logistics systems such as TMS and WMS.
• Knowledge of DRP, S&OP, IBP or related supply chain functions advantageous.

Responsibilities

• DRP Execution: Release shipments per plan and inventory targets.
• Plan and coordinate transportation across road, sea, air, and intermodal networks.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs for capacity and bookings.
• Monitor shipments and resolve transportation, warehouse and supply chain issues.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound schedules with warehouse operations and stock targets.
• Manage transactions in ERP, TMS, and WMS while maintaining master data.
• Track KPIs: OTIF, costs, lead times and service performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and logistics optimization.
