Velto Renewables in Madrid is seeking an Insurance Manager to lead the company's global insurance program across all assets and activities. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, business, economics, finance, law, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in insurance management, risk management, or claims handling, preferably in renewables or industrial sectors and with multi-jurisdiction exposure.
• Professional insurance certification (e.g., CII/ACII) highly desirable or in progress.

Aufgaben

• Lead design, placement and ongoing management of Velto's global insurance portfolio (property, casualty, liability, D&O, cyber, marine, construction, BI, machinery, etc.).
• Manage insurance bonds and guarantees for project development, construction contracts and O&M agreements.
• Structure and manage W&I insurance for acquisitions and divestitures in coordination with Legal and M&A teams.
• Review, negotiate and manage all policies to ensure coverage for aging assets, theft-prone sites, and operational risks.
• Lead end-to-end claims handling and recovery with loss adjusters and underwriters.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Operations and HSE to identify vulnerabilities and suggest risk mitigations.
• Analyze cost drivers and negotiate premiums through tendering and risk improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and lender covenants; maintain thorough documentation.
• Coordinate with brokers, underwriters and risk consultants across Spain, France, UK and other markets.
• Provide regular KPI reporting on claims, costs, risk exposure and renewals.
