Confidential Company in Spain seeks a Director of Group Controlling and Accounting to guard global financial integrity and lead consolidation under IFRS. You will scale a high-performance team, drive automated financial reporting, and align processes with group objectives across markets.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in group controlling within multinational environments, strong IFRS expertise, and a proven record of leading direct teams with a digital mindset and ERP/automation experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Group Controller in large corporate or multinational environments.
• Expertise in consolidations under IFRS.
• Proven leadership of direct teams.
• Digital finance mindset with ERP implementation/optimization and reporting automation experience.
• Excellent command of English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation for all group entities.
• Ensure IFRS and local GAAPs compliance across entities.
• Act as internal technical expert for complex transactions and investment-ready reporting.
• Drive automation and transformation of accounting and reporting processes.
• Mentor and scale the central accounting and control team.
• Coordinate with local finance heads to align with Group objectives.
• Oversee external audits, tax, and compliance activities.
• Support M&A due diligence and data room preparation.
