Job summary

Stark Future SL is seeking a seasoned Consolidation & Internal Controls Specialist to lead the general ledger and multi-entity consolidation across the group. You will ensure IFRS/Spanish GAAP compliance, strengthen internal controls, and support strategic financial decisions through accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial consolidation roles, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of consolidation principles and multi-entity accounting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics is preferable.
• Advanced level of Microsoft Office package (Excel and Word mostly)
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and ES GAAP.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities with experience managing a team.
• Experience in a multinational company or working in a shared service center environment.
• Understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing supply chain financials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily, monthly, and year-end closing of the general ledger.
• Ensure accurate recording per IFRS/Spanish GAAP; reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Coordinate across procurement, manufacturing, sales, and logistics for journal entries.
• Prepare monthly and annual consolidation for subsidiaries and consolidated statements.
• Maintain and enhance consolidation systems (SAP BPC, HFM, OneStream).
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis with CFO/Finance team.
