Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Mechanical Structures Specialist to join our global engineering organization. You will collaborate with Brno engineers and experts worldwide to drive innovation, standardization, and continuous improvement in the design of HV support structures.

This role defines global engineering standards, develops new tools and methodologies, and influences how structural solutions are engineered across our international teams.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical structures engineering.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Structural Engineering teams globally to promote unified design methodologies and engineering best practices.
• Drive innovation in High Voltage products through close cooperation with R&D on the design, testing, and continuous enhancement of support structures and systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives that increase efficiency, quality, and consistency across engineering activities.
• Develop and implement engineering guidelines, work instructions, templates, and standards to support global knowledge sharing and standardization.
• Support the development of engineering tools and systems and drive the adoption of automation solutions that improve productivity and accuracy.
• Define requirements for newly developed structural components and support related approval and compliance processes.
• Act as a key interface between R&D, Engineering, Production, and Installation teams to ensure successful implementation of improvements and changes.
• Lead and develop the global Structural Expert Community, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Apply Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize workflows and engineering processes.
