Adsearch is seeking a Financial Controller with 4–6 years of experience to join our Finance team in Madrid. The role works closely with the CFO and offers broad exposure to accounting, cash flow management, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting.

You will contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual closings, prepare management reporting, support audits, and drive improvements in controls and processes in an international, fast-growing environment. Fluent Spanish and English are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar.
• 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Big Four or audit firm exposure highly valued, especially international exposures.
• Experience as Financial Controller in infrastructure or international environment is valued.
• Strong ability to read and analyse balance sheets, P&L and cash flow statements.
• Good understanding of cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI and financial systems/automation knowledge advantageous.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; analytical, structured and detail-oriented.
• Hands-on, proactive and flexible to work across Finance areas.

Responsabilidades

• Support the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts at group level.
• Perform budget vs. actual analysis and explain key deviations.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts, cash positions and liquidity requirements.
• Review accounting information for accuracy and consistency of data.
• Analyse balance sheets, P&L and cash flow statements and drivers.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
• Participate in preparation and review of financial statements.
• Prepare financial and management reporting for CFO and senior management.
• Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external accountants, auditors and tax advisors.
• Perform financial analysis and ad hoc reporting to support decisions.
• Improve financial controls, reporting processes and internal procedures.
• Participate in automation, systems and process improvement initiatives.
• Support CFO on various financial and corporate projects as required.
