General Electric Company is seeking a Commodity Site Leader for Generators to manage global sourcing strategy, supplier relations, and cost productivity initiatives. You will partner with engineering and logistics to optimize total cost and lead time while ensuring quality and delivery targets across regions.

The role emphasizes strategic negotiation, contract management, and continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, business, engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in Supply Chain/Sourcing or Engineering.
• Permanent, unrestricted right to work in country of employment; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsabilidades

• Lead global generator sourcing strategy to drive cost productivity and manage supplier relationships.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and manage supply agreements, including terms and recovery of costs.
• Drive cost/lead time/defect reduction projects through negotiations and long-term supplier agreements.
• Develop technical and market expertise to identify supply chain opportunities and improvements.
• Use Lean and Six Sigma tools to drive process improvements and interface with other sourcing teams.
• Partner with engineering to implement productivity ideas and minimize total cost.
