Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU seeks a MRTT Production Quality Flight line and Delivery Center Engineer to join the MRTT Quality Operations Team in Getafe. You will interface with production, customers, and authorities, lead PPS investigations, and ensure quality across shop-floor activities and aircraft handovers.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, an engineering degree, and strong English/Spanish language skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in Aeronautical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing, shop-floor or maintenance environments.
• Autonomous, proactive, teamwork-oriented with strong adaptability.
• Advanced English (C1) for international interfaces and Spanish on-site.
• Experience with PPS and quality tools; knowledge of regulations is a plus.
• Experience directly interfacing with customers/auditing bodies is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Perform shop-floor inspections and attest work orders near production.
• Lead customer/regulatory interfaces during inspections and aircraft deliveries.
• Conduct PPS investigations, applying containment and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement and proactive quality projects across teams.
• Support shifts and on-site operations with occasional afternoon rotations.
• Travel internationally to support MRTT operations with at least 6 weeks yearly.
