Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe is seeking an MRTT Production Quality Flight line and Delivery Center Engineer. You will manage production quality, attest work orders, and coordinate with customers and authorities during audits to ensure compliance.

You will lead PPS investigations, drive corrective actions, and implement proactive quality improvements across multifunctional teams. Regular day shifts with some rotations and international travel are expected as MRTT operations require

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in manufacturing, shop-floor operations, or maintenance.
• Aerospace or automotive sector experience valued.
• Advanced English for international interfaces; native/advanced Spanish.
• Knowledge of PPS and regulatory practices.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing/maintenance quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform shop-floor inspections and attest work orders close to manufacturing/maintenance operations, preventing FOD.
• Interface with customers and aviation authorities during inspections and audits.
• Lead PPS investigations and implement containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
• Drive proactive quality improvements and predictive quality projects.
• Support day-to-day shop-floor operations; rotate to afternoon shifts as needed.
• Travel internationally to partner facilities to support MRTT operations.
