Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L.U. seeks a Fire Protection Design Engineer to join a global engineering team shaping fire safety for critical data center infrastructure.

You will design and implement comprehensive protection systems and collaborate with architects, engineers, and regional teams to advance safety and reliability. Responsibilities include developing fire protection concepts, ensuring compliance with NFPA, NEC, IFC and IBC, and driving continuous improvement across design

Formación

• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities such as data centers.
• Experience researching new designs, technologies and construction methods for data center equipment.
• Experience with fire suppression, fire alarms, life safety and related systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design and oversee fire protection systems for data centers worldwide.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement fire safety solutions.
• Review and ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, IFC, IBC and related standards.
• Provide technical guidance on fire protection engineering matters.
• Support continuous improvement of design standards and methodologies.
