Sibelco is seeking a Global Energy Procurement Lead in Bilbao to manage a €150 million energy spend, drive category strategies, and lead sourcing, hedging and contracting decisions across regions. The role demands strong stakeholder coordination, market insight, and experience with PPAs and renewable energy solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in a related field, 8–12 years in energy procurement, and the ability to work across countries in an international environment.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Procurement, Business or related field.
• Typically 8–12 years of experience in energy procurement, trading, market analysis or related roles, including ownership of complex sourcing decisions.
• Experience working across countries and functions in an international environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical capability and ability to interpret price curves, indices and hedge positions.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute short-, medium- and long-term energy category strategy in line with business priorities.
• Lead sourcing initiatives and negotiations to deliver savings, manage risk and ensure service continuity.
• Own data models for sourcing and hedging; translate market movements into quantified scenarios and business impacts.
• Lead procurement-led market engagement for PPAs, green certificates and renewable energy solutions.
