Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a clinically oriented expert in cardiovascular ultrasound to serve as a subject matter expert within R&D and product development. The role focuses on translating user workflows and clinical experience into actionable product requirements and validation plans.

You will engage with clinical customers, maintain specialized ultrasound expertise, and contribute to product strategy while traveling globally up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on cardiovascular ultrasound scanning experience in hospital or clinical settings.
• Registered/certified cardiovascular sonographer with proficiency in adult echocardiography.
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular ultrasound anatomy, imaging techniques, and workflows.
• Ability to communicate clinical concepts effectively to technical and non-clinical audiences.
• Master's degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with significant clinical ultrasound experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical SME in cardiovascular ultrasound, representing workflows and user needs within R&D and product development.
• Partner with engineering, product management, and cross-functional teams to translate clinical needs into product requirements.
• Engage with clinical customers to understand workflows, unmet needs, and usability challenges.
• Maintain and develop specialized cardiovascular ultrasound expertise and stay current with clinical practices and tech.
• Develop clinical materials and present recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of the competitive cardiovascular ultrasound landscape and differentiating factors.
• Apply clinical expertise to moderately complex problems including workflow evaluation and data interpretation.
• Support clinical evaluation and validation activities for new cardiovascular ultrasound technologies.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects and build consensus across teams.
