Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Global Contract Segment Specialist to support our Contract Management function within the Transformer Segment. You will work with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Sales, and Supply Chain across geographies, contributing to contract performance and strategy.

The role requires a law degree, 10+ years in contract management or legal roles, and fluent English. Travel globally about 30-40% and negotiate complex agreements with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Law degree is required.
• At least 10 years of experience in contract management, legal, or related fields.
• Experience supporting contractual execution of large, complex projects.
• Data Centre experience is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, influence, and dispute resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support for the entire contract lifecycle.
• Ensure contract management activities follow company directives and BU procedures globally.
• Manage contract portfolios across the segment following standard methodologies.
• Conduct contract and claims negotiations and settlements.
• Review tender terms and conditions and identify risks and opportunities while negotiating contracts.
