Arxada, a global leader in innovative chemistry and biotechnology solutions, seeks a Global Category Manager to drive the Basic Chemicals & Intermediates category. You will collaborate with Business Units, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain worldwide to secure supply continuity and drive sourcing decisions that sustain Arxada's growth.
The role focuses on developing strategic category plans, delivering cost savings, and strengthening supplier partnerships, while aligning with sustainability
Qualificações
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Business; Master's preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience in strategic procurement
- Fluency in English is required; business-level German is a plus
- SAP experience is highly recommended
Responsabilidades
- Lead the global category strategy for Basic Chemicals & Intermediates (~30m CHF annual spend)
- Build market intelligence by analyzing supply economics and cost drivers
- Act as the primary strategic interface for Business Units and stakeholders
- Ensure robust supply assurance and develop mitigation plans
- Deliver pricing, cost savings and working capital improvements
- Lead supplier relationships and participate in supplier audits
- Identify opportunities for innovation and category excellence
