Job summary

Nordex Group in Pamplona, Navarra, is seeking an experienced engineer to join the global R&D NPI team. You will develop and implement manufacturing processes for new blade projects, support prototyping, ramp-up and international roll-out while upholding safety, quality and operational excellence.

The candidate should hold an engineering degree and have 8+ years in composites, with hands-on blade or boat-building experience and proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD 2D, CATIA, Siemens NX).

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Aerospace or similar.
• Minimum 8 years in the composites industry.
• At least 4 years in two of: new product development, international production roll-out, or process engineering with focus on HSE, quality, costs and cycle time.
• Minimum 3 years in boat building or composite structures (blades or civil).
• Proficient in CAD tools and Office; CATIA and Siemens NX are a plus.
• Strong communication, knowledge-transfer, and team management skills.
• English C1 mandatory; Spanish B2 required; German B2 a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally ~6 months/year (3–6 weeks per assignment).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support development and implementation of new blade manufacturing processes.
• Prepare and review manufacturing specifications and process docs.
• Define and maintain BOMs, value stream maps and manpower plans.
• Develop decision matrices for new product and process designs.
• Prepare test documentation and test plans; conduct trials and validations.
• Coordinate with Blade Eng, Quality, Tooling, R&D and NPI teams.
• Drive process changes during development and production roll-out.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders on development and industrialisation.
• Supervise activities to ensure successful deployment of new products and processes.
• Support international production roll-out projects.
