Nordex Group in Tajonar, Spain, is looking for a Blade Industrialization & New Product Introduction Engineer (m/f/d) to lead manufacturing process development for new blade projects, support prototyping, ramp-up and international roll-out with emphasis on safety, quality and operational excellence.

You will coordinate with Blade Engineering, QA, Tooling, R&D and NPI teams, define BOMs and process docs, conduct trials, and drive improvements across development and production phases.

Formación

• Engineering degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in the composites industry.
• At least 4 years in two areas: NPI/international roll-out or process engineering in a production setting (HSE, quality, cost, cycle time).
• 3+ years practical experience in boat building and manufacturing of composite structures (blades or civil).
• Knowledge of 2D CAD; CATIA and Siemens NX are advantages.

MISSION: join our global R&D NPI team and play a key role in bringing new blade manufacturing processes from concept to industrial reality. You will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes for new blade projects, supporting prototyping activities, production ramp-up and international roll-out, while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and operational excellence

YOUR TASKS:

• Lead and support the development and implementation of new blade manufacturing processes
• Prepare and review manufacturing specifications and process documentation
• Define and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), Value Stream Maps and manpower allocation plans
• Develop decision matrices for new product and process designs
• Prepare test documentation and test plans
• Conduct physical trials and manufacturing validations
• Analyse trial results and prepare technical test reports
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Blade Engineering, Quality Assurance, Tooling, R&D and NPI teams
• Drive the implementation of process changes and improvements during development and production roll-out phases
• Collaborate with external stakeholders involved in development and industrialisation projects
• Supervise manufacturing and development activities to ensure successful deployment of new products and processes
• Support international production roll-out projects

YOUR PROFILE:

• Engineering degree such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience within the composites industry
• At least 4 years of experience in two of the following areas: participation in new product developments, international production roll-out of new products, or process engineering in a production facility with focus on HSE, quality, costs and cycle time
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in boat building and manufacturing of composite structures (blades or civil), including hand layup, VARTM, RTM, and working with epoxy and polyester
• Knowledge of Office package, technical drawing interpretation and AutoCAD 2D; CATIA and Siemens NX are considered an advantage

Strong communication and knowledge-transfer skills, team management and conflict resolution skills

• English (C1) is mandatory; Spanish (B2) is required; German (B2) is considered a plus
• Availability to travel internationally approximately 6 months per year, typically in assignments of 3 to 6 consecutive weeks
