Job summary

Enfinity Global is seeking an experienced BESS Engineering Director to lead the engineering and technical function for battery energy storage systems across our global Storage pipeline.

This role owns the technical and engineering definition of our BESS assets end to end — from system architecture and technology selection through design, integration, and engineering oversight during construction and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field is required.
• Strong background in BESS engineering, system design, and technical due diligence.
• Experience supporting procurement with engineering input and vendor assessment.

Responsibilities

• Define the engineering and system architecture for BESS assets across geographies.
• Establish design standards and criteria for grid services and merchant storage.
• Develop technical specs and documentation to guide procurement and project execution.
• Lead engineering due diligence during procurement, including design reviews and reliability metrics.
• Engage with major BESS vendors to assess capabilities and differentiation.
• Provide engineering oversight during construction and commissioning.
• Act as the engineering authority within the Storage Global team.
