Codeway is hiring an Accounting Lead to own day-to-day accounting operations and compliance across our multi-entity group, based in Barcelona. You will lead a team of accountants in Barcelona and Turkey, ensuring timely monthly closes, tax compliance, and audit readiness across jurisdictions.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong tax knowledge, ERP experience (NetSuite), and cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, Legal, HR, and Procurement to deliver reliable actuals and scalable

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years leading or managing a team.
• Strong tax compliance knowledge across jurisdictions (VAT and corporate income tax).
• Experience preparing for external audits in a multi-entity group.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of Spanish GAAP / IFRS and group reporting.
• Proven leadership and delegation abilities.
• Ability to drive process improvements and automation.
• Excellent time management during peak closing periods.

Mansioni

• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team and build contingency coverage.
• Own end-to-end accounting cycle across all group entities including AP/AR, reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
• Manage month-end and year-end close and ensure accuracy against close calendar.
• Oversee intercompany recording, reconciliation, and elimination.
• Ensure tax compliance across jurisdictions and handle VAT and corporate income tax filings.
• Prepare and manage VAT refund claims with audit-ready documentation.
• Support transfer pricing with proper intercompany records and documentation.
• Maintain audit readiness and coordinate with external auditors.
• Unify accounting principles across jurisdictions and align with group reporting.
• Develop and maintain finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Lead ERP implementation and automation of manual tasks.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, HR, and Procurement to provide timely actuals.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
