Esports Organization is offering a fully remote internship for an Online Community Manager in video games. You will moderate channels, engage with players, and execute content plans across Discord, forums, and social media to support competitive teams and titles.

The role emphasizes building positive interactions, organizing events, and reporting insights while gaining hands-on experience in social media strategy and community management in a fast-paced esports environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Game Design, or related field.
• Passion for video games and extensive knowledge of gaming culture and esports.
• Excellent written and verbal Spanish communication skills.
• Experience in online communities (Discord, forums, etc.).
• Familiarity with social media content creation tools.
• Strong understanding of community management principles.

Responsibilities

• Moderate online community channels (Discord, Reddit, forums, social media).
• Engage with community members and respond to inquiries.
• Develop content plans to boost interaction and loyalty.
• Organize online community events, tournaments, Q&A sessions, giveaways.
• Report insights and sentiment to the team.
• Assist in managing influencer/streamer relationships.
• Enforce community guidelines and policies.
• Identify and empower community advocates.
• Stay updated with gaming trends and esports landscape.
• Collaborate with marketing/content teams.
