Aistech Space in Barcelona HQ (Sant Cugat) seeks a skilled backend engineer to design, build, and scale microservices that connect satellite data to end users. You will work in a trunk-based development workflow, using Golang and Python, and collaborate with Platform/DevOps to ensure cloud-native deployments on Kubernetes in GCP.

The role offers a permanent contract, hybrid work with 6 days/month from home, a competitive salary, and perks like on-site gym and daily fresh fruit.

Formación

• Proven backend software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Golang and/or Python.
• Experience with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and RESTful API design.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and clean architecture.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching/messaging systems.
• Experience building containerized apps (Docker).
• Familiarity with trunk-based development, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and scale microservices connecting data to end users.
• Collaborate with Platform/DevOps for cloud-native deployments on Kubernetes in GCP.
• Develop API gateways translating gRPC to RESTful endpoints.
• Implement geospatial logic and Earth Observation standards (STAC/STAPI).
• Design and optimize DB schemas for telemetry and image metadata.
• Follow Hexagonal Architecture and Domain-Driven Design patterns.
