Job summary

TD SYNNEX Spain is seeking a General Ledger Supervisor to lead a team of accounting professionals and ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls. This role partners across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations in a dynamic, multinational environment.

You will oversee month-end close, implement process improvements, and contribute to finance transformation initiatives while maintaining high standards of compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a multinational or SSC environment.
• Previous people management or supervisory experience.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for developing people and driving efficiencies.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and BW/HANA.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• SOX compliance and audit experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounts to ensure compliance with internal controls and US GAAP.
• Perform financial statement reviews, balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis, and support management reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations.
• Monitor and report KPIs and drive service excellence.
• Support SOX compliance requirements, internal controls, and audit activities.
• Manage fixed asset accounting processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Contribute to finance transformation projects and other strategic initiatives.
