HR Business Partner – Geely Brand

We are building our new team in Spain (Madrid) and are looking for a hands‑on HR Business Partner who can work closely with business leaders to support rapid growth. This role requires a mix of strategic partnership and operational HR generalist work in a startup‑like, fast‑paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

1. Business Partnership & Recruitment

  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and provide HR solutions aligned with company goals.
  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment process, ensuring timely hiring of high‑quality candidates.
  • Build employer branding and talent pipeline to support future growth.

2. Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR matters, providing advice and solutions on employee relations.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with Dutch labor laws, regulations, and local requirements.
  • Support communication with local authorities, works council, and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Manage relationship with payroll service provider, ensuring accurate and timely payroll.
  • Monitor compensation practices for compliance and alignment with company policy.
  • Provide guidance on salary benchmarking and internal equity.

4. Performance & Development

  • Support in setting up performance frameworks appropriate to the company’s current stage.
  • Assist in initiating training activities that address employees’ skill development needs and business priorities.

5. Administration Support (Coordination Role)

  • Coordinate with external partners on visa applications, supplier management, and other local administrative needs.
  • Work with HQ teams to ensure smooth support for local operations.
Job Requirements
  • Education & Knowledge: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Solid understanding of local labor law and HR compliance.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of HR experience, preferably as an HR generalist or HRBP in a growing or international company. Proven ability to work independently in a stand‑alone HR role is a strong plus.
  • Language Skills: Excellent English is required; Spainish proficiency is a strong plus for handling local HR and administrative matters.
  • Competencies: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trust with both local employees and international teams. Capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
  • International Exposure: Experience working in cross‑cultural settings; willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

General Ledger Manager – Geely Brand

Lead the local compliance implementation for the local entity and report any implementation activities or business risks identified.

Manage local finance team and train local finance staff.

Assist the head of finance department in finance matters to ensure an effective management of the financial resources according to our company’s procedures.

Manage day‑to‑day finance operations and oversee accounting daily operations including communication of issues and opportunities to management.

Execute month end, quarter and year end closing activities (prepare journal entries and all account reconciliation) to ensure timely and accurate closure of accounts in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Assist the development of financial and accounting system.

Supervise, monitor and problem‑solve the day‑to‑day work.

In charge of annual audit schedule to support Group and statutory audit.

Liaise with both internal and external parties (e.g., government, auditors, and regulators) for finance related and compliance matters.

Undertake ad‑hoc assignment as and when required by the management team.

  • At least 5 years working experience preferably in Multinational Companies or Big 4 experience is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Local financial standards and IFRS is a must.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS applications.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Have sensibility in numbers, and have excellent issue finding and solving skills.
  • Precise, strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, target‑oriented, solid analytic capability and summarizing skill.
Information Management – Geely Brand
Job Responsibilities
  • As the general person in charge of overseas information needs, coordinate the collection, communication and management of local information needs and provide corresponding solutions.
  • Benchmark local business digitalization plans and plan local companies’ annual digitalization plans.
  • Responsible for formulating the annual local company information budget.
  • Responsible for promoting internal and external resources to deliver information systems to subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate the IT internal resource pool, promote the delivery of projects with quality and quantity, promote the overall application of the business, and continuously improve and optimize.
  • Coordinate basic networks and promote the construction of global basic networks.
  • Responsible for the daily information equipment management of overseas companies.
  • Responsible for overseas company software, equipment, project implementation procurement and business‑related work.
Job Requirements
  • Have more than 5 years of information‑related experience, and can communicate in English or Chinese in addition to local language.
  • Strong communication and project management skills and driving force, those with PMP certificate are preferred.
  • Familiar with enterprise information system OA, finance, HR, SAP, DMS, CRM and other systems.
  • Familiar with basic IT operation and maintenance, network, information security and other abilities.
  • Priority will be given to those with working experience in car sales.
