King is seeking a Game Engine Developer in Barcelona to evolve the cross‑platform engine and tooling that empowers hundreds of developers to build King’s world‑class casual games. You will join Shared Tech and collaborate across game teams to deliver high‑quality, performant tooling.

You will work on multiple platforms (Windows and OSX), contribute to feature design, and help improve workflows and adoption with stakeholders across King.

Formación

• Strong C++ knowledge and experience.
• Python knowledge with experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with testing, automation and continuous integration.
• Experience with performance‑critical software is a bonus.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑discipline teams to understand their needs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop the game engine, refine new and existing features, and design, implement, and maintain in‑house tools embedded directly within our products.
• Collaborate with various current and future users of our Game Engine, bridging various crafts within King with the intent to optimize, improve and discover workflows across games
• Deliver high quality and well‑structured code
• Improve quality and performance inside our products landscape
• Share knowledge and best practices with peers and game teams
• Drive and support features adoption with stakeholders in the game teams across King
