Job summary

RWS is seeking AI Conversation Recording Contributors to support a Galician speech data collection project from a home-based setup. You will help evaluate and develop AI technologies by providing spontaneous speech recordings and related metadata.

The role is freelance with flexible, task-based work approximately 2–4 hours daily. Start date is immediate, with payments at 11 USD per hour and remote, flexible engagement terms.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Galician.
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation projects is an advantage, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.
• Ability to follow detailed project and recording instructions.

Responsibilities

• Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech in accordance with the project guidelines.
• Participate in or capture speech from approved real-life situations, such as workplace conversations or casual one-on-one discussions.
• Complete individual or two-person conversational speech tasks, or participate in voice or voice-text interactions with an AI or machine-based system.
• Annotate collected speech data according to the instructions provided.
• Provide the required information and metadata related to each recording.
