Job summary

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking in Madrid is seeking a Fund Finance Analyst to support senior team members in analysing, structuring and executing subscription line facilities, NAV-based financing, and ABL transactions for private capital clients. You will build financial models, conduct due diligence, and coordinate with Legal and Risk to ensure successful closing and portfolio monitoring.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline required.
• Postgraduate studies such as MSc in Finance or MBA are a plus.
• Fluent English, written and spoken required; Spanish also highly valued.
• Other languages are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and interpret financial and cash flow models, including downside sensitivities, for internal approval.
• Support due diligence on fund structures, investors, uncalled capital commitments and fund documentation.
• Assist with negotiations of financing documentation and conditions precedent through closing.
• Prepare marketing materials, pitches and client analyses to support origination with fund managers.
• Maintain transaction pipelines and internal reporting; coordinate with relationship teams.
• Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Capital and Markets to assess pricing and profitability within Santander CIB framework.
