Winning Consulting in Barcelona is seeking a Business Analyst to join a financial services client on a hybrid basis, with 2 days remote.

You will translate business needs into functional specs, manage the backlog with DoR/DoD, support UAT, and document AS-IS/TO-BE processes, working closely with PO, Dev, and QA.

The role requires 2+ years in BA/Functional Analyst, and fluency in French and Spanish, with experience in financial services preferred.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Functional Analyst.
• Experience in the financial services sector valued.
• Strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• French and Spanish fluent.

At Winning Consulting, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join a project for a financial services client in Barcelona.

The role follows a hybrid model (2 days remote).

Responsibilities

• Understand and identify business needs, establishing effective communication and collaboration channels with key internal stakeholders.
• Translate needs into clear functional specifications: user stories, use cases, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and maintain the backlog (refinement, prioritization, definition of DoR/DoD), working closely with the Product Owner, Development, and QA teams.
• Prepare the test plan / test cases and support the testing team during execution, including UAT and functional validations.
• Write and maintain functional documentation for applications and processes (AS-IS / TO-BE where applicable) and share knowledge with other teams.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to align scope, dependencies, decisions, and next steps, ensuring actionable outcomes.

Requirements

• +2 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst
• Experience in the financial services sector is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• French and Spanish fluent.
