Job summary

Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) offers a Fully‑Funded PhD Programme in chemistry in partnership with URV. The pre‑doctoral contract runs up to 4 years full‑time, with a bundled training plan including seminars, instrumentation training, IP management, and career development.

Erasmus-like SHARP training is provided with a 2‑week intense year‑level focus. Applicants must hold a Master’s or equivalent in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Physics, Chemical Engineering or related fields and

Qualifications

Master’s or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Physics, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines must be completed by enrolment in the PhD programme.
Excellent academic record and strong commitment to scientific research.
Solid working knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

Design and execute research projects under supervision of a Group Leader.
Engage in training activities and seminars as part of SHARP programme.
Participate in scientific seminars, hands-on training with instrumentation, IP management and grant applications.
Publish results and present at international conferences.
Collaborate across groups to advance oscillatory micromotor systems project.
Maintain meticulous records and contribute to project management and reporting.
