ICIQ’s Fully-Funded PhD Programme invites exceptional graduates from around the world to pursue a doctoral thesis in chemistry at ICIQ, in partnership with URV. The award supports training and career development within an internationally renowned research environment.

The programme includes a competitive gross salary under a pre‑doctoral contract and access to state‑of‑the‑art instrumentation, with a four‑year path and ongoing mentorship.

Formación

• Master’s (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
• Excellent academic record and strong research potential.
• Strong English communication skills (written and oral).

Responsabilidades

• Design and synthesis of photoactive micro/nanomotors with controlled composition and surface properties.
• Characterize materials using optical microscopy, spectroscopy and related techniques.
• Study effects of light intensity, wavelength and chemical environment on micromotor dynamics.
• Identify chemical species and gradients involved in propulsion and oscillations.
• Analyze single-particle and collective dynamics; prepare publications and present results at conferences.
